All kit values are taken from the SWW Group R-M269-9 page. I have done my best to ensure that they are accurate transcriptions.
There are 9 kits total at the moment. The dark green row is my kit. I will refer to the kits by their row number.

Note an interesting difference at 385b. Except for that value, a “fast mover”, the line matches identically out to 25 markers.

Given that 459b is different, the estimated Time to Most Recent Common Ancestor (TMRCA) for my line and those lines is at least 10 generations. If we can confirm some information about the Bennett Smith line, this will be a solid estimate for this marker’s mutation rate. Interesting that kit 7 has 16 for DYS437 and is unique among the 9 kits.

Here we see an interesting pairing of mutations on DYS456 and CDY-a. This can be used to closely link the two groups. Current research suggests they are from a Massachusetts North Carolina Smith line that ran wagon trains west. I suspect the other 7 kits originate from a Virginia Colony line. DYS438 being different on “kit 3” may suggest the two lines (2 and 5) aren’t descended from the same immigrant to North America. Only a paper trail can confirm this.

I find it interesting that kit 6 has a unique mutation at 406s1. This line differs with me at 3 markers, each with a difference of 1, for a total genetic distance of 3.
